What can I say, other than that I was completely honored to step inside this world of redwoods and be a part of Gina and Aaron's Hindu wedding in Oakland a few weeks ago? It was unlike any ceremony I have beheld-- completely magical, personal, profound, and spiritual, with their friends and family huddled around the structure (which Aaron built by hand!) to escort them over the threshold to marriage. The experience felt so potent that I had a brief and hilarious fear that I, too, was somehow bound for eternity, by mere proximity, to whomever was standing closest to me! I can't say enough about how wonderful it was to see all of the tradition, family participation, humor, and love that went into the day... I thank them both for the joyful experience and wish them the best of luck!

It's hard for me to really believe that this place exists, or that the couple actually had a wedding like that. I'm SO amazed by how you captured the beauty and feel of it. Smashingly done!

I can smell the aroma of a far-off place and hear the crowd crow at the bridegroom as he approaches. How do you do that?
Somehow I'm there and not in my dumb office seeing it on a monitor. Thanks.
