I was honored to be asked to snap some photos of Wheezy, my dear friend Diane's kitty, a couple months ago... Wheezer was sick with a feline respiratory disease, and Diane knew she wasn't going to hang on much longer. I've always loved watching their dynamic of alternating cuddles and scratches. They are both the biggest "prickly softies" I've ever met. They cuddled and scratched together in the sun of Diane's amazing SF studio, and I've hopefully captured even just a bit of their overwhelming love for one another. Though Wheezy is now gone, her funny eyes, flabby tummy, and loving scratch will never be forgotten. xoxo

Your note is so sweet. This post brings tears to my eyes. Thank you SO much for shooting these. My baby has a great spot in my memory and my heart...I'm glad she got into yours a little too ;)
Ok, anyone else crying at work? What a sweet kitty and what great shots to cherish. =)
Fantastic job, as always Kelty!! Love these pictures of the Wheez and Diane, especially the one where Wheez is belly-up! You really captured a magical relationship!
Yup, teary at work here too!
Beautiful shots of a beautiful kitty.

Yep, crying here in St. Louis, too. The photos are absolutely gorgeous.
Wow. I see a beautiful and tender thing here. You show the great responsibility and the joy of being a pet-owner and the lovely trust there is, too. How did you do that?
Thought I was crazy getting all emotional about this-glad I am not the only one!
These photos are so beautiful. They make me miss my kitty dreadfully.
I love it!
