Feathers & Fog // katie & nate

Walking into the Headlands Center for the Arts was like falling down a rabbit hole. While the building itself was white and unassuming, the second I stepped foot inside, it was like entering another world. There were hanging paper feathers everywhere, typewriters, applebutter preserves, fuzzy flowers, chipped walls, vintage figurines, cinnamon aromas, and rooms packed with treasures. Even the bride and groom seemed like they were from a different time and place. Vampires? maybe. 1940's movie stars? perhaps. Crazy in love? most definitely. I can't thank Katie and Nate enough for allowing me to take part in their own personal wonderland and I hope that my photos convey even an inkling of the magic and creativity that was their wedding day.

WOW! Spectacular images and quite unique touches to what looks like a beautiful wedding. I love the typewriter idea for the messages to the couple and the food looks like it was amazing (not your usual bland wedding food!). Makes me want to get married all over again! Great work!

Hello,

I saw these photos and gasped when I realized the bride's Elizabeth and James gown is the exact one I want for my upcoming wedding, but it's no longer available. Any chance I could contact her about whether she's willing to part with it?

Thanks so much!

This wedding is so simple, but beautiful! I love the inclusion of red - it pops against the muted feel of the rest of the wedding!
