I've spent a total of 24 hours in person with this wonderful couple and somehow they feel like family. Katie and Nathan have the warmest hearts, most creative minds, and two of the silliest souls I've met. Their wedding day was full of patchworked loved ones, bonfire cheer, magical wind, ringing bells, crashing waves, and moonlight merriment.
These photos are a bunch of my personal favorites, but the fantastic wedding website, Once Wed, has her own! Visit Once Wed's features (Part 1, Part 2) to peek at extra photos from Nate and Katie's wedding, vendor and DIY descriptions, and, as always, fantastic photo inspiration for brides and singles alike.

Before I head off to the farm for a couple weeks of blissful freedom, I wanted to fill you in on some percolating life plans...
Justin and I are moving to western Massachusetts for a full year this coming October! He'll be beginning an agricultural internship at The Farm School, and we will be embracing life in the sticks for twelve delicious months.
With this announcement comes brainstorms of baby goats, fledgling projects, space for running dogs, drawing, singing, embroidery, and generally taking life slow and sweet. Not to mention the big adjustment known as 'enduring a real winter'. Sigh.
Steep Street will carry on as usual, with a renewed zest for east coast travel and some new projects in the works once the wedding season has come to a close. I can't wait to tell you all about it. Until then, have a wonderful weekend and enjoy a few photos of our new 'hood. (Taken with my darling Zeiss)
