I'm delighted to post this website I've been working on for the amazing Bay Area Florist A. Hana Design! Asako and her husband Daniel have been a dream to work with through the logo, business card, and web design process. Asako is brilliant, talented, and one of the sweetest people I've ever met. Their blog will go live soon so we can all track their floral adventures, but in the meantime, check out their new website: www.ahanadesign.com!
Thank you, Once Wed for featuring this post and A.Hana's wonderful work!
Asako and Daniel had a vision for their logo and print materials but were incredibly flexible as well! In addition to average business cards, I suggested we design a selection of mini cards to distribute at events, so Asako hand painted 8 different flowers for on the front of each card. Amazing!
And last but not least, below are some photos of the adorable couple. You can tell how sweet and in love they are... it was obvious to me right away that everything Daniel and Asako do, they go for with their whole heart and a fierce sense of determination and creativity. Looking at their photos again makes me miss North Beach so much, and you gotta love that most were taken on the corner where they met over 10 years ago.
Please check out Asako's website to see some gorgeous samples of her work, and don't hesitate to contact her at asako@ahanadesign.com for your own floral design needs!

#1. Tea, Anyone?
Hannah and I created this (yes, supernerdy/dreamcometrue) Jane Austen tea party shoot for the front of this bridal shower postcard-- silly fun all around and, um, have you ever in your life seen a better eye brow raise?

#2. The Drawn Ultimatum
After finally coming to terms with the fact that I was never going to find a Little Bridal Birdy that looks just like Laine in istock, I decided to dust off the old drawing pens and have a go. 30 sheets of paper, two tantrums, and a good deal of hair loss later, she lives!!

#3. Tudo Mundo Vai
Hannah and Alex's beautiful mugs helped create the basis for this simple rehearsal dinner postcard invite... and the rest was a breeze! (Stay tuned for their wedding photos next month...)

#4. Gina Lola-pink-ola
"Pink and girly" was the only direction I was given for this baby shower invite... thanks a lot, Treen! Despite the challenge of delving into the unknown realm of peachy pinks, I had a blast throwing in some hand-drawn swirlies and vintage wallpaper flowers to capture the magic of this little gal's upcoming birth... hope you had a fun this weekend, ladies!

More to come soon once I've sorted my brain after the travels...
