We moved away two days ago and I miss it already... who better than Laura to put up as a friendly reminder to myself that beautiful SF is alive and well... and coming to visit me so soon! Laura is a friend in the truest sense of the word. She knows more ways to make fennel delectable than you could ever imagine, is the best shopping buddy of all time, reads fat books like Anna Karenina without batting an eye (though isn't above some trash reading now and again), is delightfully always up for a beer and goss, can make conversation with strangers out of thin air, is a delicious sap for dogs and cats of all shapes and sizes despite a rotten allergy, and could stop a train in its tracks with her porcelain beauty. Scroll on for some proof...

Bi Rite Bliss
{ Manda + Nick }
I love these two for introducing me to the Bi Rite Creamery in the mission! They even treated me to some creamy organic deliciousness in wild flavors. Manda and Nick wanted their engagement shoot to be centered around their favorite ice cream spot with a fun, childish flair to emphasize their first meeting in high school years ago. What resulted is an album full of proof that testifies to their love and real ability to have fun together! I'm sadly already booked the weekend of their wedding * in BALI! * but know they will have an amazing time there with all of their friends and family. Thanks for such a fun day!

Bride Revisited
{ Hannah }
Acrylic paint + embroidery thread + dancing = quality time with my favorite future bride. You may remember this fiery red head from her Elementary Engagement shoot with Alex last month...We had some bride and maid of honor time last week and snapped a few photos to use on their Bachelor/ette invitations.... And yes, she's really as laid back as she looks. Her wedding is going to be as stylish, hassle-free, and rock and roll as she is. Just add Alex.

The Tortoise & The Hare
I just wrapped up these wedding invites for Marisol and CB! I can't wait to see these two hitched next month... You may remember their Save the Date card and Website I designed for them already. For their invitation, they wanted an invite card with two identical sides (one in English, the other Spanish) and an rsvp postcard, all using their wedding colors and a simple design to be tied with a bow and popped in an envelope! We decided on a bluebonnet flower since the wedding is in Texas, and on a whim I asked them if there were any animals they identified in particular with.. CB's answer was a tortoise and Marisol conceded that she'd always thought of herself as a rabbit... a tortoise and hare! Racing to the altar, perhaps?

Dishy and Debonair
{ Yael & Chris }
It's hard to go wrong with two beautiful people on such a gorgeous San Francisco afternoon. They scaled the side of the Palace of Fine Arts, stood within inches of a crazy swan, and attempted the Dirty Dancing jump several times in high wind conditions! Happy engagement and thanks for being so game...
